Proceeds from ticket sales to LPS jazz concerts are a vital source of funding for numerous educational enrichment opportunities that are not covered by the school budget, including the jazz guest artist, who works side-by-side with the students musicians, and workshops and high school festivals, where students and teachers receive valuable feedback from expert clinicians. This year, because of the coronavirus epidemic, audience members cannot be invited to hear our jazz performances in person, and tickets cannot be sold at the door as a result. To prevent the program from being hurt by the lost revenue from ticket sales, please make a donation online in lieu of purchasing tickets. These tax-deductible donations directly support the jazz program. Thank you! Use this link to make a vital contribution to support the jazz in the Lexington Public Schools:
